What are the minimum credit requirements to receive a loan?

To qualify, you must have a credit score as reported by a consumer reporting agency.

  • There cannot be any material adverse change in your credit report from the time the loan was offered to you and your funding.  For more information about material adverse changes, please visit this page.

  • We check to see how much debt you have in comparison to the income you receive (your debt-to-income calculation).

  • You must not have any bankruptcies, or public records from within the last three years on your report unless the public records consist only of paid civil judgments or paid tax liens.

  • You must not have any accounts that are currently delinquent.

  • You must have fewer than six inquiries on your credit report in the last six months, not including any inquiries related to student loans, vehicle loans, or mortgages.

Please be aware that the credit score Associated Bank receives may be different from the one reported by your credit monitoring services. A credit monitoring service may be reporting a score from a different bureau or using a different scoring method.
